Have a business idea? Dragons’ Den auditions coming to Kelowna

Auditions are taking place on Thursday, Mar. 7 at The Innovation Centre in the Pela Office

Do you have the next million-dollar business idea?

Now is your chance to show your idea off as auditions for the television show Dragons’ Den are coming to Kelowna.

Auditions to find the next big business will be taking place on Thursday, Mar. 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the sixth floor at The Innovation Centre in the Pela Office.

With the chance to appear on national television and a successful business pitch, the next big local company could follow in the footsteps of Kelowna-based companies Basecamp Cards, Saxx, and Second Slumber, who all appeared on Dragons’ Den.

Anyone interested in submitting their application to audition can do so at http://www.cbc.ca/dragonsden/auditions.

Additionally, on Wednesday, Mar. 6, successful Dragons’ Den alumni and producers of the show will be hosting a business seminar called Lessons From the Den: An Event for Entrepreneurs at the downtown Kelowna Okanagan Regional Library in the Great Room. The event is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
